Dr. Sarah Gitto

Dr. Sarah Gitto is a Research Assistant Professor in the Department of Radiology at the University of Pennsylvania. She received her Ph.D. in 2017 from the University of Central Florida and completed her post-doctoral training in at Penn. Her research is focused on ovarian cancer, with a particular emphasis on tumor immunology, immunotherapy, and the development of targeted imaging and radiotheraputics strategies. Dr. Gitto has won numerous awards for her research, most recently the 2026 Schriber Research Prize form the Ovarian Cancer Research Alliance (OCRA). Her research is funded by the NIH, Ovarian Cancer Research Alliance, and the Abramson Cancer Center.
