She is also Associate Professor at the University of Turin since 2016. From 2006 to 2016, she already spent 10 years at Gustave Roussy, focusing on the application of diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine in oncology. Additionally, she spent a year at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York as a visiting investigator.

Her clinical and research activities have long been centered on the theranostic approach in nuclear medicine for oncology, with a particular focus on thyroid cancer, neuroendocrine tumors, and prostate cancer. Clinically, she is dedicated to optimizing, implementing, and developing healthcare system facilities to improve access to radioligand therapy. In her research, she aims to develop an efficient theranostics model through advanced molecular imaging analysis to enhance the understanding of tumor biology, guide radioligand therapy, and advance dosimetry technique. Prof. Deandreis has contributed to over 140 publications on theranostics, international recommendations, and book chapters. She is also investigator in numerous clinical trials, from phase I (first-in-human) to phase III and also active member of the EANM Thyroid Committee, ESMIT, EANM Radiobiology Group, GETUG and UEMS/EANM delegate for Italy.
